Dryer cylinder of paper machine is to dry the moisture in the paper for finishing paper. During the operation, the passed steam will make the transported paper dry and ironed. The main parts of cylinder dryer of paper machine include: shell, dryer bars, siphon, manhole cover, shell head, spherical roller bearing, steam joint ,etc.

Dryer cylinder of paper machine shells are ground on the outside and turned on the inside, while all dryer journals with steam or condensate pipes have insulation sleeves. The inner surface have grooves for the stationary siphons, the front side ends of all dryers contain manholes.

To ensure the paper smoothness, the outside surface of dryer cylinder should polish,and the thickness of whole cylinder wall must be consistent to ensure the safety, balance & even heat transmission. During the papermaking process, the effect of dryer cylinder eliminates the moisture, and improves the strength and the smoothness of the paper.
