Opportunity of Vietnam Packaging Paper Industry

       In the past 10 years, Vietnam's packaging industry has been rated as one of the fastest growing industries and enterprises. Up to now, Vietnam has about 2000 enterprises engaged in the packaging printing industry. Vietnam formally joined the World Trade Organization in 2007, attracting many big companies and groups from around the world to look for opportunities. At present, the government has approved foreign owned enterprises in the printing and packaging industry to carry out business, bring a lot of challenges to Vietnam in the packaging industry, and it helps to promote the enterprises to improve the quality and yield of Vietnam packaging and improved technology.

       Recently, the Vietnam's urbanization is accelerating. Enter with Lotte and Big C, AEON supermarket and other foreign packaging manufacturers, has brought many opportunities for the development of the packaging industry in Vietnam.

Challenge of Vietnam Packaging Paper Industry

      However, the Vietnamese packaging enterprises has appeared some shortcomings in the new stage of development, such as lack of vision and long-term strategy,  low productivity, lack of high quality packaging paper equipment. Therefore, in the future, Vietnam will vigorously introduce raw materials, technologies, equipment, automation and digitalization, to improve product quality and output, and promote the sustainable development of enterprises.
